Expand Product Card Options on Hover

When a product card has more option values than the configured display limit, LinkedOption shows the visible values followed by a “+n” indicator. You can enable hover expansion so customers can quickly view every option value without opening the product page.

What this setting does

When enabled:
• The product card initially follows your configured option-value limit.
• Moving the pointer anywhere over an option block expands all of its available option values.
• Moving the pointer away restores the original limit and the “+n” indicator.
• Each option block expands independently on multi-option product cards.

The setting is disabled by default, so existing product-card behavior does not change unless you turn it on.

Supported option styles

Hover expansion works with:
• Color Swatch
• Image Swatch
• Button

It does not change Dropdown or Count only displays because those styles do not use the “+n” limited-value indicator.

How to enable hover expansion

1. In LinkedOption, go to Option styles, click the "Customize" button.
2. In the General tab, keep Display as set to Swatches and Enable Expand all option values on hover.
